I am having problems with my Verizon Env phone connecting to bluetooth. It is showing as a registered phone but it will not automatically connect when I get into the car, and most times comes up with an error when I try to connect it via Function, and message with my phone info comes up. Trying to determine is it the phone or the unit. It used to work but had to get new phone, same type, same everything.
Did you check that you have the phone in the "Bluetooth on” mode all the time? It should be connected whenever the "Bluetooth" unit (your car) is switched on. You need to contact the Verizon to get assistance on this problem because it might be the phone’s Bluetooth that is not working.
I had to pair my Verizon phone with my new pioneer car stereo, although at first it didn't work. I tried several times using the phone to discover the radio and pair using the radio's pin code. no success.. I succeeded when I used the unit's menu to automatically discover phones. It found my vx8500 and it finally accepted my pin code (1111) of my phone. However I still cannot play audio through the unit from my phone.
