Summary: Getting to know this unit takes a little getting used to, but once you hear what it has done to your system, you won't have another complaint. This is for anyone looking to step up their audio game for a few hundred dollars.
Summary: Love it. However although I can hear my recieved phone call's just fine, the people on the other end have problems hearing me. ( although to be fair, it's mounted in a convertible with the top down going 95 miles an hour on a windy day) In which case I could just pull over and put the phone to my ear. ( I never have much of any importance to say anyway. Don't know why anyone bothers to call me. Besides it interrupts the music.
Summary: This is the second FH-P8000BT Pioneer Stereo that I have installed in two different cars. This radio offers so much compared to OEM radio installed in car. One of the options is the blue tooth capability along with XM and Sirius along with HD AM and FM cababilty. The head unit allows you to play Ipod from this unit along with MP3 CD. The price offered was not that bad along with prompt delivery.
Summary: If you are into car audio, you know the legendary PREMIER series from Pioneer had more than just a name on them. They were released to make HISTORY. Only few premiers came out and only one radio is better than this one (the DEX series one). This was the 2nd best when it came out, but these days still considered a LEGEND. With so many options to tune your sound, you wont need any other radio or separated EQs to make your sound come out the way you like it.
Summary: My girl totally loves this device. I put into her car yesterday and she is trying to figure out how to do the connection of her phone to the stereo but is having some trouble. All in all a great device and a nice new toy.
Summary: 5 volt pre-outs are perfect! Great display and tuning. Visual effects are nice! The sound of the stereo is outstanding and sounds crystal clear. The copper chasis and the ability to turn of the radio's internal helps get rid of any noise!
Summary: I have used my Pioneer deck for about a month now and love it. It is hard to not love anything if you had stock prior, however I have used many decks and this one stands out above all the rest. I have a 2005 Ford F-150 so the stock deck took up a lot of room in the center dash. I wanted to buy something that was just as big, or almost as big so that it would fill the space left behind from the older deck so all the space evened out.
Summary: LIKES: Easy and simple. CONS: The radio doesn't dim with the dash lights, although it has an auto-dim for when headlights come on, but it is still really bright. Blue tooth works great, as long as you dont use an ear piece as well. Gets static, but there might be a fix for this on setting priority.
