Summary: I bought this particular model because I wanted a radio with a usb port and an aux port to easily play music. The usb port is in the back of the radio and has a long cable. You will need to drill a hole so the cable can come drop down and come out from under the radio. Thats the only inconvenience but it can be easily done. The aux port is on the face of the radio. I've had this product over a year now. I have a 10" jl speaker in a ban pass box.
Summary: Electronic Express never replied to the three emails I sent them about returning the product. Never buy from Electronic Express they will not contact you back and they were horrible with communications.
Summary: I just want to say that I love this system and this is my first pioneer system. I just want to point out it will play with ANY Mp3 player and not just IPOD's. So don't go waste your money on a IPOD If you already got a mp3 player, alot of review sites fell to metion that making IPOD the center of attention. I have a Creative 2GB so it works and sounds great. Also it sounds great on my factory speakers but, getting ready to upgrade them to make it sound better.
Summary: What sells this product for me is the USB/iPod interface and the power output. I like the sound and the features. Things I don't like are the faceplate interface and the way the faceplate comes off/on. But those are minor things compared to what I do like.
Summary: This radio works great and sounds just as great as well. This is my very first Pioneer ever so I had to read the manual to know how to make it work the way I wanted to. Once you get the hang of it, everything is OK. The reason I got this radio instead of any other is because it's made for iPod... and my iPod is my life! so it's cool you can go through your playlist and genres and artist and everything just like in your iPod.
Summary: After much research and an extremely limited budget, I got what I wanted in a car stereo. The problem? I replaced a Pioneer I hated with a new Pioneer. Unfortunately, it was the only one of any quality that offered the features I wanted. My wants are simple. I wanted a great tuner because I enjoy both FM and AM radio. I wanted a great CD player because I have a ton of great music and finally, I wanted a stereo that easily plays Ipod's.
