Question: deh 3900mp manual? anyone have one?

I am hooking up the external speakers to the rear of the deck using the rca jacks. But i can't get any juice to flow to them. I have a manual for the 5500 but it doesn't help. Anyone have the manual for this unit? The existing manual says to toggle the function button to select the ext speakers but there is no such listing for them when u toggle the function.
