Good unit - MP3 only, unless you use a phone for music. Brightness control would be nice, changing color is a workaround.

Summary: I can't comment on the install - this was in a used car I recently purchased (1990 Lexus LS400). It did need an install kit as the unit is smaller than the original radio. Overall, I'm quite satisfied. Considering purchasing another to put in another car that doesn't have usb/aux ports. The good: Sounds great. The in-unit CD player works fine. The USB thumb drive/phone hookup makes CDs obsolescent.
Put this in my pontoon boat with 6.5" and 6x9 JBL's sounds great

Summary: When you put together a receiver system and speakers you never know what you get, but I have used the Pioneer DEH& JBL's in the past. This did not disappoint. The only reason it did not get a 5 is the controls a difficult at best and the digital readout is hard to read in the daylight (as with most digital readouts).
Summary: I'm very satisfied with my stereo system. I was able to put this in by myself. I bought a wire harness for my vehicle and spliced it together with the provided harness from stereo to wires. It is way easy to do. Installation could be more difficult depending on the type of car you have, but for my '06 Kia Spectra it was pretty simple. The only thing I don't really like about this particular unit is that the left side customization color is strange.
Summary: I bought this for my friends 88 toyota pickup and he loves it. I paired it with the Power Acoustik gt4-400 amp. The pioneer has plenty of options for music input, allowing you to play and charge your iPhone/iPod, use a USB drive or cd. Very versatile little unit with front and rear amp outputs, bass, mid, and highs control! Great unit for the price!!
Summary: I like it, nice colors, sound, features, they way you can manage you ipod from the usb port is helpful, i recomend it just if you dont need the Bluetooth. if you need bluetooth, look for another model.
Summary: I've always liked Pioneer products, and this one doesn't disappoint -- for the price. It plays CDs, has both an aux. input and USB input, so you can play thumb-drive music, or your iPod/iPhone and control it from the deck, which is nice feature. Tuner works fine, too. The color-customization matches my factory colors exactly. Where I feel this deck loses a few points is in the sound quality. It's good, but it's not great.
Summary: I purchased this stereo to replace the stock car stereo in my daughter's 2002 Honda Accord. She needed something with better sound plus something she could plug her ipod into. I also replaced her stock car speakers with Pioneer six inch door speakers and Pioneer six by nine rear speakers. It was an easy install. My daughter listens mainly to rock music so I used one of her cds, 10,000 days by the rock band Tool, to test and set up this stereo.
