Summary: Mind you I don't have a cell phone and I usually know where I'm going or where I've been so where or not this unit has blue tooth or GPS is not of my concern. Music and the radio is all I needed, oh and an input for a rearview camera. This unit does this exceptionally well. Only had a small problem with the installation but with a quick call to Crutchfield the problem turned out to be the installer (myself). Highly recommend this to anyone needing a double din receiver.
Pros: The screen is very clear and the view it displays while using the rear view camera is great. Tried a couple of movies & a few cd's and they worked fine. Ipod usage is easy. Setup took a little time nut that was because I was exploring at the same time. Just received a different connecting cable for my pod so that I can also pull movies from it. I've got several Alpine's in different vehicles and if they start giving me any trouble another one like this will be going in.
Cons: The owners manual could use to be printed larger. It is well written but the fount size is way to small.
Summary: I was hesitant to pull the trigger and buy a receiver like the 4600BT. I have always bought pioneer head units for my other vehicles, but wanted a few things that would enhance my driving experience. There were a few things that I wanted from my new purchase. 1) I wanted to have Bluetooth. 2) I wanted a touchscreen with a large intuitive UI. 3) I wanted to be able to expand my system at a later date. 4) I wanted to spend less than $500 all together on a head unit.
Pros: Just freaking awesome!
Cons: 1)Every time you download a new wallpaper pic, the original pic is no longer available until you download it again. Just wish you could download more than one image at a time. 2)Bluetooth on this unit is awesome, If you push Bluetooth and say "read last message from _____," it will read the last message. It could be improved by having a way to notify you when there was an incoming text. Either a ding, or a button that appears on screen to touch, so It automatically re...
Summary: I enjoyed the radio its awesome, way better than Clarions stuff. Crutchfield on the other hand, it has literally taken me over three weeks to install this radio with all the issues that I have encountered at Cructhfield.... WOW, i suggest that you seriously consider how quick you want this radio installed if your ordering online!
Summary: Appradio is slow, I'm hooked up to my iPhone 5s, pandora is ok but when changing station the list shows up slow or not at all. Can only play videos on appradio which sucks. When on Bluetooth audio I'll use my pandora but my phone screen won't let me change stations. Overall it's a slow unit and I'm very disappointed.
Pros: Using the phone feature for calls is very easy. The sound quality is good.
Cons: Appradio function sucks. Pandora sucks on this radio. Overall the radio is glitchy and slow and not very smooth
