Mb 70 is different from MB 75!!

Emile Baroody, Amazon
28 March 2009
  • Summary: The product advertised here and showing in the picture is the MB 70. It is not a stand alone item. It needs to be controlled by another Nakamichi product, but Nakamichi people did not know which product is compatible with it. The MB 75, on the other hand, is a stand alone product that does not need any other to control it. It is a radio and 6-CD changer all-in-one. I ordered this item and reveived the MB 70. It took me some time before realizing the problem.

Nakamichi MB-70 Disk Changer

Overstock
6 September 2006
  • Summary: This was a perfect fit for my new Dodge truck. It has a small cubbie below the climate controls that fits the deck to a tee. You have to have a head unit with an auxillary input on the back . If not I don't think it would work but I could be wrong. Unit itself is truely awesome, 6 disks at your fingertips. And the sound is Nak quality. Thanks Overstock for the incredible deal.

Avoid like the plague!

Overstock
28 August 2006
  • Summary: I was very disappointed here. I have loved Nakamichi since the 1980's, but this changer turned me away for good. Search online for reviews before buying. Mine died after 9 months, displaying errors and unable to eject a CD. I replaced it with an Alpine.

User Review

Overstock
2 February 1900
  • Summary: I purchased the MB-70 for four reasons: Nakamichi's reputation for sound quality, compatibility with my headunit(Nakamichi CD-500), no cartidges and it's DIN size (fits nicely in my dash!). I must say I am impressed. Not only does it look great in my dash but the convenience of not having to go to my trunk and load a cartridge cannot be understated. The sound quality is just what I expect from Nakamichi, excellent!!A pleasure to listen to in traffic or on a road trip.

Die Endlösung aller CD Tuner

FuzzyFlynn, Ciao
6 August 2000
  • Summary: Und es gibt sie doch!!!
