Summary: First off lights up blue and looks cool. Controls and navigation not intuitive. Clunky knob push control weird to use. Its a rotator, but also joystick like. NEED BOOKLET to get going. NOT SIMPLE; 1.) Iphone syncs up but controlling music library through KENWOOD insanely confusing via USB. 2.) Ipod struggles to sync up with cable run more than 10 feet. Kenwood will do overthrow on ipod if cable 10 ft or less.
Summary: love the radio, i wanted something with a front usb so i can simply plug in a usb with mp3s on it and not have to subject my Ipod to the marine environment. no other radio (of a decent name brand) could compete with this price. the controls are nice. I did research to confirm the Kca-rc60mr would work, I put one remote on the helm and a second on the transom so when I'm in the water I can still control the radio. Really nice, great display.
Summary: This is a great head unit. Unfortunately i have had two of these in my jeeps. There was nothing wrong with them, other than the fact that the people that stole them liked them too! They sounded good, had great features, and worked flawlessly. But for someone like myself, i think i need something a little cheaper for my practical uses and to keep the thieves at bay.

Summary: Briefly...just hooked up the unit. It took 5 min since the connector to my old JVC fit the back of this unit too!!! What a unexpected surprise that was. No wiring needed. Plug and play. The buttons took a little getting used to but I like the rubber turn knob. I like the fact that this volume knob doesnt push in to access other features and setting. If you go over any kind of bump while toggling you may inadvertently push in with that type.
Summary: I purchased this stereo for my boat based on past reviews and its price. I almost rated this 3 stars, but it's not the stereo's fault that I couldn't get an answer from the supplier for a problem I had. So, here's the scoop: Pros: 1. The stereo looks and sound good. 2. Lots of modes and options to choose from when playing music. 3. Shipping was fast. Cons: 1.
Summary: We bought this radio for our bowrider and absolutly love it! It takes it little bit to get used to since you only use two buttons for all the basic controls but once you get familar with this unit you will be shocked at the things you can do with it. Our i-pod plugs directly into the front of the unit and all the control is transferred to the radio....so easy. Its nice not having cords plug into cords. You can never go wrong with Kenwood!
