Summary: I was considering having an iPod jack installed and came across the idea to install a new radio (with AUX) instead. It was much cheaper and easier! Instead of having the wires come out of my glove box, I just have an input on the front of my radio. Even better, I now have a higher quality stereo and everything sounds better. The unit came with a remote, which I didn't expect and probably don't need), but it makes some functions even easier to use.
Summary: This radio is just what I needed to replace my outdated radio in my 1996 Chevy K1500. Bought the Metra and Scosche parts (antennae and wiring adapters, CD storage pocket, and mounting adapter) to make the transition complete from factory to after market) all for under $100.00. No regrets.
Summary: this receiver is great, it doesn't have gawdy lighting, or a stupid moterized fold out display that breaks after the 20th time it opens. it turns on, saves radio stations, and plays cd's without skips.
Summary: This stereo is a prime example of the deals you can find in life. The settings are easy to access, the brightness is clear to read and understand, you can hook up your amp and subwoofer if you have any of that, Cd's are easy to load, Music from phones can be played instantly and clearly, everything for installation is included. I paid $60 for this stereo and I couldn't be happier with the value. Everything with it is clean, simple to understand and provides clear music.
