Very limited bluetooth options - many devices wont sync with this. But great otherwise.

Summary: Pretty great in many ways, but it just wont Bluetooth connect to any of my portable Bluetooth music sources that it should be able to. Even after the firmware update, no dice. So I use a cord, but what's the point of finding a bt-supported player if I cant ever get it to sync with any of a half-dozen devices, some fairly new?
Summary: This is a great car stereo. I love that it is so high tech but so easy to operate. It is really good with your iPhone or iPod to charge and listen to music. The Bluetooth is excellent. You get the excellent quality you expect from Kenwood. I love this thing. I have it in my X-terra and definitely takes care of business.
Summary: The unit was easy to install and the instructions were clear. The Bluetooth works great with my Samsung GS3 and automatically pairs in a seconds when I enter the car. Initial pairing took about a minute and the range is about fifteen feet from the unit. The sound is excellent and so far I have no complaints. Great Buy!
Summary: USB port didn't work right out of the box. Bluetooth is spotty and radio reception is below average. I should have gone with my gut and bought a Sony. I will never purchase another Kenwood system.

Summary: The microphone is poor, my callers cannot hear me and when i adjusted it it got worse. when i followed some other hints of "opening" the hole, it seemed to improved slightly, but not good enough to use on business calls. disappointed.
Summary: I usually pick up the base model of a car and then upgrade as I go along. First thing is usually the sound system, and Kenwood is my old standby for receivers. They have yet to disappoint me, and this unit was no different. Installed real quick and easy, initial set-up was a breeze, and the USB input has been great for listening to Pandora during my commute.
