Summary: In some ways I feel like a two-star rating is not entirely fair, but there is a very specific tech spec that is left off of this product's description, but can be found buried deep in kenwood's documentation: [...] The stereo only supports USB 2.0 storage devices with the FAT16 or FAT32 filesystem - it's pretty fair to say that these have been long obsoleted by the newer NTFS and exFAT formats.
Summary: This stereo worked very good I love it! It actually stopped working for like 2 months but I came to find out it was b/c of my battery but anyways it changes colors which I love and it works great! My only complaint is there's no time on it I looked thru the while manual to figure it out and it says nothing and I don't like not having the time in my car but the price was good, I go to crutchfield.com to find stereos that work with my car and compare the prices on there...
Summary: If you are looking for a basic stereo for your car, this one works well. It was great when I had an iPhone (worked with 4s and 5s) plugged into the USB port for music and charging. I switched to a windows phone and cannot use the USB port, it doesn't recognize the phone. I can neither change my windows phone nor charge it with USB. I can and do use the auxiliary port though. It will charge but not play music through the USB port with my fiancées Android phone.
Summary: It cost me more to get it installed ($95) than the unit itsself. I am very happy with this purchase and the company upgraded my purchase to the newer model than I actually purshased, so I am estatic with this buy.
Good, simple deck, but problems with clock and weak FM tuner.

Summary: I ended up owning two of these -- one for each 20 year old Nissan that I own. I needed a deck that had a simple interface for iPod and an AUX mini jack port for when/if I end up with some other portable player and the USB port is no longer all that useful. Having two of these, I've learned that I really like it for its simplicity, ease of use, and intuitive controls. I have also learned that the model has a consistent problem with a slow clock.
