Summary: Truly a great system. I'd give it 5 stars but I had some trouble running a firmware update on it (which isn't a game changer). It's very feature rich and is very easy to use. I actually like the navigation system better than the large expensive integrated systems in my 2014 Jeep and 2011 Journey. Pretty quick & responsive. As other users have stated, you need a few things to make this unit work; mounting ring, wire harness kit, antenna adapter & the iPod adapter.
Summary: This radio is great and worth tje money. The only thing about it that they dont tell you is that there are more cables you need to buy inorder to run your ipod correctly. Also you have to buy an xm box with ant. in order to have xm radio. Besides all that this radio is great and i would buy it again in a heartbeat.
Summary: I've loved this device for a year. Fairly simple to navigate. Great features with Pandora, Garmin nav with traffic updates, iPod integration, etc. Sounds great with new speakers, amp, and sub. Looks fantastic in my dash. All works to perfection... ...until you have to update your firmware and maps. Just looking at it's face, you see the microSD slot on the lower left hand corner.
Summary: Pay very close attention to what you really want to do with this unit because you will only be able to do 1/2 of what you want. If you want to use your iPod with all the functions or use video you have to get the additional cable. If you get the additional cable you now can't update the software or install background photos because the usb cable must be available. The customer support solution: unhook the iPod cable to use the usb port.
Summary: Well, I wanted a nav unit for the first time, and after scouring the internet and reading sparse information available on such a new unit, I pulled the trigger and ordered it. After installing and tweaking the settings to my liking, I can comfortably say that I am happy with my purchase.
