Summary: This is a great stereo as a replacement. It doesn't offer a bunch of outputs, so don't expect to build a competition stereo around it. The controls are easy. I don't have to hunt for the manual to set the clock. I love that I can plug in my iPhone and listen to music and pandora in the car. I can also control the songs and see the names on the display. This allows me to hide an iPod in the glovebox and just use the stereo to control it.
Summary: This CD deck works great. i hooked it up along with my new subwoofers and couldn't be happier. Alot of reveiws complain that it is not actually bluetooth ready, and it's not, so be aware of that. It's bluetooth ADAPTER ready, meaning u have to buy a separate $60 device to make it work. I am not deducting stars for this though because i read the reviews, knew what i was getting, and frankly don't care about the bluetooth anyway.
Summary: I ordered this cheap unit for my Jetta, I was so excited when it came in. I opened the box and the remote was wrapped in a huge bag that seemed out of place. Upon further inspection, the faceplate was on the unit (which is not how it is originally packaged) and the wiring harness was missing. I sent it back and will order a different head unit.
Summary: I have the previous version of this receiver too. Both sound and work great, but this version handles lots of mp3 folders much better. I usually just stick in a 16Gb flash drive, put it in random play mode and don't fuss with it.
Summary: This stereo is amazing. It looks nice and works great. I pretty much only use the aux with my cellphone to listen to music, but the cd player works good. The USB port is cool because it charges phones and ipods, which saves on needed car chargers for those. I am pleased with this stereo. The price is cheap but the item isn't.
