Really a great radio... BUT - do your research on this issue...

Summary: This is a really nice radio. I don't miss the optical disc feature at all. USB thumb drives work great. Only issue is that I initially set this up with an iPhone 3GS. The bluetooth worked fine. If you got out of the car, shut off the radio, when you came back, the auto connect feature of the radio would get the radio back to where you stopped listening on the iPhone.
Summary: i gotta say this is one of the best and most simple radios I've ever owned. the bluetooth connectivity is awesome. the radio automatically connects to my phone when it turns on (occasionally i will have to manually connect it from my phone but that is no big deal). im seriously thinking about purchasing this radio again, i never should have sold my car with this thing in it.
Summary: Great receiver! I bought it for my wife but she wanted something with a cd player so I then bought her a Sony, and the jvc sounds 10 times better, so I put it in my car! It couldn't of worked out better. Her Sony won't consistently hook up to blue tooth and i never have a problem with the jvc.
Summary: you cannot beat what you are getting for the price, it reads iPhone data no problem and can be navigated from the head unit itself. you get Bluetooth with mic that has a cord to allow you to hide and use anywhere in your car. I have subs and this unit lets you fine tune. it comes with a remote, you can fine tune all the colors displayed to what ever color you want, cool IMO, the buttons really are easy to navigate if you just take the time to learn, a home run in my book...
Summary: This unit sounds great - even with the crappy stock speakers in my 2009 Subaru (known for awful stock stereos). Blue Tooth works well. Two annoyances, 1) parts of the display do not light right away when it's under 75 degrees outside. Once the unit is on for an hour or so, everything lights up well. The other issue is that I have to hold the power button in longer than one would expect to turn it on... I have to hold it in a second or two.
