Summary: So first off it took 9 days for them to even ship it. I didnt get it till 2 weeks after ordering it, ridiculous. So it finally gets here, and the package is opened when the usps worker hands it to me, i can see the radio. I ordered a NEW item. Not used, NEW. There wasn't even any tape on the box. So i get the awfully packaged product out of the box to just a radio that was held in by a piece of styrafome. A piece of paper talking about warranty, and a remote.
Summary: I bought this as an upgrade to the previous model. I can't say there was anything "wrong" with the old model except that it took too long to pair with my phone. The new model pairs much more quickly. Same as the old model, though, the screen is hard to read in sunlight (not bright enough). I wish manufacturers would make the screen covers on car radios slightly concave rather than convex- this would all but completely eliminate reflections and glare.
Summary: Easy to install, easy to pair with my phone(Razr Maxx) and works great. The microphone picks up my voice and cancels out background noise better than the factory system in my wife's new Optima. I withhold the 5th star because it won't work with the voice activation system on my phone. Otherwise a great system.
Summary: I had to wait at least 30 minutes after starting car, sometimes longer, for the stereo to start working. I had it professionally installed by a reputable place that has been installing stereos for over 20 years. I've heard of other JVC's not working in cold weather as well. I will never buy another one; it is very annoying. Plus, the Bluetooth never would connect to my new Iphone, I tried everything to no avail.
Summary: Love this for being able to listen by Bluetooth to anything I want on my iPad. I do wish though that setting channels 7-18 was easier. I couldn't find a manual way to set those. The best thing I did for my 2002 Toyota Echo. And Best Buy Daly City did a wonderful job installing it.
Summary: Love this product. Its exactly what I've been looking for. The sound in the speakers is amazing. I will say it gets confusing when using the USB. Anytime you are not using the USB it will have a strange guy speaking, which I am not sure yet what that is. Didn't get a chance to play around with the system. Besides that, it is explained properly to the T with its information.
Summary: I was looking to replace my old after market stereo with something that had an Aux input. I found many options with an Aux as well as memory card readers and USB input. I found many less expensive options, but quickly realized that if I stretched my purchase range by 10 dollars I could have Bluetooth connection as well with this unit.
Not too bad, but I'd probably choose a different one

Summary: After owning this stereo for a little while, I feel pretty confident that I can give it a proper review. While it is a good stereo, I would probably suggest getting a different one. It's powerful enough that it doesn't sound too bad, but it could also sound better. I've considered buying an amp to get it to sound a little better. My biggest complaint is that the bluetooth doesn't connect to my Android automatically.
