Summary: I've owned this head unit since 2006, today, 2/22/2013 I swapped out for a new head unit. I've had these problems since day 1, I even got a replacement for the CD player skipping problem from bestbuy. Pros: USB MP3 support Sub control/out with great results! Wide display, not super wide but very nice.
Summary: The unit is in great working condition. I really like the usb port on it. It makes it easy to take my music from the home to the car without fumbling around for a cd, yet gives me the option to play the cd's that I already have.
Summary: I'm a long-time owner of this unit, so I've gotten a lot of mileage out of it. Other people have covered enough, so I want to specifically mention the USB functionality. It's a bit limited in the following aspects: - the manual says VBR (variable bit-rate) MP3 is supported, but that's not 100% true. Unlike CBR (constant bit-rate) MP3s, you cannot resume where you left off.
Summary: This CD player is great! Especially the jump drive feature. I have had no problems with this product and the best part is it was a very easy install. I want to buy another and would recommend it to anyone.
Summary: This was my boyfriends Christmas present, and he loves it. He has never used the CD player. He only uses the USB Flash Drive. He just loads a his pen up with all his favorite songs, and off he goes. It's easy to use, and it sounds great. Heck, he even installed it himself. He loves it so much that he wants me to get one for my car.
Summary: I only recently purchased this radio along with the JVC ipod convertor box. I was skeptical about it because of negative or less than glowing reviews I've read on various sites on the Web. My early impressions are that those who wrote the low rated reviews simply failed to take the time to read and comprehend the instruction manuals that come with the radio and the CD based manual that comes with the ipod convertor.
