Summary: What can I say about this reciever that other people haven't already said about it. But what really shocked me is that the performance of this product byfar exceeded my expectations. Of course, you know what they say, "you pay for what you get," is true and that for a $40 receiver. It does the job I wanted to do. Nothing more and nothing less. Everything works with the aux cord to usb port charging to SD card reader.
Summary: No moving parts so very little to malfunction and/or wear out and the sound is stellar. Even though the volume knob is large enough to adjust comfortably my suggestion is to NORMALIZE the MP3s on your Flash drive so you don't have to constantly adjust the volume. I personally use MP4Gain. My only complaint with this unit is the readout is next to impossible to read from the drivers seat in daylight.
Summary: It's been a while since I've installed a car radio. Avoid my mistake, make sure you order your wiring adapter and your mount adapter when you buy a radio. These units are inexpensive 'lets play something' radios. I installed it in a neon. ergonomics and controls The controls were a little difficult to figure out, but not impossible. All the controls present a smooth surface, so trying to adjust things will driving is awkward.
Summary: Was wondering how good a stereo for such a low price would be. Installed it in my brother in laws' truck as a christmas present. Works great. Love the fact that it takes no cd's. Just digital media. Put a 16gb memory card in it, and it works great.
Summary: I bought this with an amply and 2 12" subwoofers for an old vehicle. It works good and I haven't had any problems. Me and my brother did the installation. The price is so low that if you do the install yourself when it breaks you are still ahead.
Summary: Good package for FM, USB & SD-MMC player, which is exactly why I bought it. I was hoping I would receive AM stations better than some of the other reviews, but alas, it wasn't meant to be -- even in an incredibly strong AM market the AM reception is *terrible*. The buttons are a little small for fingers too. But great sound on the FM radio, USB & SD-MMC card -- and I guess I can use the Aux In and I <3 Radio app for my AM stations.
