Summary: Worked great and loved it for about 6 months and while out of town on a work trip it started opening and closing non stop while driving. After 2 days of this I pulled the fuse and bought one at a store the following day, with driving over 250 miles a day between several appointnents for a month long trio and the radio being what keeps me awake it needed to be fixed with something more dependable.
Summary: I put this in a 99 Mustang for my daughter. It sounds good and works well, especially when coupled with the Dual SBP8A amplified subwoofer. She likes the way the face-plate is motorized, and the colored lights on the control.
Summary: Though it sounded good and I generally liked the unit it barely lasted 2 years. Now it does not turn on. Connections and fuses checked and double checked. Reset using reset button attempted numerous times with no effect. After one year the stereo was acting erratically but I was able to get it to play using the remote. Now it won't power on, stuck in the off mode with the dreaded Red Ring of DEATH.
Summary: The motorized head unit is nothing more than an expensive novelty. Once it breaks your screwed. Mine lasted a few months. I do not recommend this radio to anyone simply because it'll break after a few months of use and it is very frustrating. Features are mediocre. Nothing amazing. Also, don't be confused by the description. This does NOT have Bluetooth. It is "Bluetooth ready" which means that in order to use Bluetooth you need to buy a separate component.
Summary: The radio worked great for about 8 months, but then it started glitching causing some buttons to do other things if I had a USB plugged in. That wasn't a big deal, but then the AUX port wouldn't work unless you held the cable in a certain way, which it stopped all together one day (I tried more then one cable. The faceplate get extremely wobbly after some time and sometimes when I click the 'Next' button, it will go backwards to the previous song.
Summary: Bought this radio and it arrived DOA. Took it to a friend at Best Buy for install and it didn't work. Had no return options on it, was a total rip off. I would give less than one star if possible.
Summary: Update: After using this radio successfully for 7 months now, the usb port wouldn't charge my ipod, one week later the aux input only played the right side audio. I'm working on contacting Dual and will have another update shortly. Now to start off, I'll say that the buttons are a bit touchy and take some effort to get to work. The remote is the same. But, really? Is that a big deal. I think not. This radio is great.
Summary: I bought this unit with the blue tooth microphone because I travel a lot and the hands free ability to talk on the phone is very useful. After installing the unit I realized you could not see the information screen when the face was down as you are supposed to, unless your radio is set way below your dash neither will you... After using the blue tooth function for my cell phone most people told me they either couldn't hear me well or I sounded like I was in a tunnel.
Summary: I just got the Stereo system today and had it installed..immediately I laughed because it does stick out of the dash a little too much, but haha that ok i guess. I loved the HD radio stations, and tagging my songs have been a blast. Cant wait to try the bluetooth. My only issue with the Dual is that it appears to be burnin up my cds...
Summary: The customer support took two weeks to respond to Email and then Carlos said that the warrenty starts the day you purshase the Item and not the day you recieve it. The radio only lasted one year then went to a dead mode which I lost all power and the instruction booklet had NO instructions on how to take the faceplate off. If you have problems with the radio due not exspect support from dual what so ever.
