Summary: I expected a semi-hard to navigate interface but figured with the EQ bands I would get it set and be done. Well I got it set but there's a hiss at about 19k that is unacceptable. I know it's being generated by the head unit because when I take the volume from 1 to 0 on any source it goes away. EQ bands are great, color options are meh no perfect match for a Subaru dash.
Summary: Been using Clarion car stereos for years. Some of the best bang for your buck! This unit has lots of features and control settings for sound. It is a little overwhelming at first, but gets amazing sound once you learn how to set it up.
Big problem - hiss (floor noise) even on Volume level 1 - all sources

Summary: Pros: - Nice display (amoled like, deep blacks) - Tons of oprions - Strong preouts - Cheap Didn't have enough time to review the rest because: As soon as I powered it up I heard the constant his on any level volume 1-30/40 and increasing over 30/40. And that's on any source, from internal amp or pre outs. There is no hiss on volume level 0. This will be very annoying if you listen to lots of talk shows.
Summary: Great quality! My first and hopefully last Clarion receiver. The microphone internal and external option works awesome through the speakers. Many expansion options to connection iPod/iPhones, Android, USB drive, and Bluetooth audio streaming. Quality is #1 (I've used other head units like Sony, Kenwood, etc. Clarion beats them hands down). Pick it up now!
Summary: I've kept my eye on this stereo for quite sometime. Finally pulled the trigger to buy it and so excited to install it. Once installed, I was just surprised by how horrible the interface was. It is not intuitive at all. My previous deck was an Alpine CDA model that was way too bright in my car at night. Don't get me wrong, the sound is crisp and clear. It has plenty of power and features. Just hard to control what everything does......
Summary: Working in the audio industry for 7+ years I have not found such a perfect unit for me. If you're like me, you don't like flashy graphics and motorized flipping screens then this is the perfect radio for you. I paid 170 dollars for this unit at the time of purchase and It was worth every penny. The 5 volt pre-outs makes the sound system sound excellent.
Summary: this sound sounds great with the system i have the only thing i don't like is that after awhile the bluetooth on the unit doesn't like to find my phone right away and i have to turn the unit off and on a few times to get it to work otherwise i think it is a good stereo especially if you like bass
