Hey, some of us who can't blow $300 on a stereo are quite happy, thank you.

Summary: Do not believe all of the highly negative reviews about this thing. Yes, it is not perfect. Yes, it could have more features to make it easier. But will it power your stereo, take outside input, and let you control your iPhone/iPod/iPad using the stereo's buttons? Yes, it will. What more do you need?
Incredible product, SUPER price, a great addition to any automobile!

Summary: I purchased this unit for my Porsche 944. I thought it was just going to be another cheap CD player. It ended up being far more! It can do just about everything you could need a car stereo to do and do it VERY well. Multiple different settings can be changed under the very user friendly menu system. Has line level RCA outputs, amplified speaker level outs, a wide range of equalizer and sound settings.
Summary: Not a bad head unit. my stock speakers sounded great with this unit and it allowed my subs to hit harder than other head units ive had. The only thing i dont like about it is the menu button doesnt do anything. I dont know if its just mine but no matter if im using the radio, cd, usb, or aux no menu comes up.
Summary: Output power: I've had differents stereos car (sony, boss, pionner) and this one have strong sound. Subwoofer separate and low filter: This feature is really good Buttons and management: It's easy and very defined Faceplate: It isn't atractive but is easy to mount and dismount In general, I think for its price is a excellent stereo car
Summary: Bought this unit to replace an older Clarion (6yrs old) which over the last few years was having issues with CDs and very cold weather. Discovered that the plug in was exactly the same as my older Clarion with the exception of the cell phone mute (older radio did not have this feature). Since we don't use or need the cell phone mute feature I was able to use the old plug (this saved me from cutting the wire harness adapter and soldering it to the new radio plug).
Summary: I have had a few different stereos, and I like that this one has both USB and Auxiliary outlets. It also reads regular music CDs and mp3 format CDs. It pretty much does everything that you need from a stereo. I can listen to the radio, a CD and my iPhone with the switch of a button. I haven't hooked up any aftermarket speakers or amps to this unit, so I'm not exactly sure of it's capabilities, but I am pretty confident that it can handle any basic setup.
Summary: This was my first Clarion purchase and probably my last. I purchased this unit strictly for the USB unit and so far it's a failure. It will play fine but here are the downfalls: It takes about 20 seconds after a song starts playing for the unit to display the album/track/artist info, till then you have to look at the last song you listened to.
Summary: After installing the unit I noticed the reception was quite poor. At first, I thought it was a failure to connect the antenna lead behind the unit. After verifying that was not the case I kept trying to determine the cause with no results. Found online forums where other owners have the same issue. The iPod controls are quite poor. It won't always read the iPod, and even when it does, it can take forever to scroll to the artist or song you want to hear.
I returned the unit due to following shortcommings

Summary: The product looked very promising, particularly considering it was "Featured" on Crutchfield. However, I exchanged it for JVC Arsenal KD-AHD69 due to the following shortcommings: 1. iPOD CONTROL: Crutchfield does mention this in their review that you can only control the iPod via the Clarion.
