Conclusion: Wanted a basic good sounding unit with a volume knob so I bought this based on the reviews, wondering if something is wrong with my unit, because I'm somewhat disappointed.. Maybe its just mine but there are some annoying quirks. 1) No separate function buttons, only one, so you have to press it a number of times to go between Radio, USB, etc. I'd rather them be separate for quick access. 2) Bluetooth is terrible.
Conclusion: Installed in a Honda Ridgeline. Not a bad unit, sounds ok but has a low rent feel and look. Pro: Lots of options, plays usb, bluetooth very easy install. Con: Display looks like 80s VCR, Bluetooth sync problems, Does not play Mp4 files.
Great features, great looks but troublesome bluetooth

Summary: I've had Clarion products dating back almost 20 years, and I've always liked Clarion aesthetics, ease of use and intuitive design. With one glaring exception, this stereo is fantastic. It was easy to install, and has some really cool features. Once paired with my iPhone, I set it to pick up incoming calls after three rings and it works as advertised. Sound quality is great and it's easy to use.
