Summary: Its not a good radio at all buyer beware..... the right channel blew out after the first day of having it hooked up. Plus its only 40 watts. Not worth the scratch. Take my word for it you will be pissed if you buy this.
Summary: I just bought a truck and this was in it.. the guy before me put it in to replace the stock one... I don't like how it doesn't have preset availability but all in all.. I could never get reception on stations my wifes car would.. wasn't a antenna issue like everyone said it was.. I upgraded to 647CK radio/speakers and it was well worth it! I wouldn't buy it for my own car.. but if you want something like factory but be able to say hey I got a aftermarket radio..
Summary: I had bought the boss 506CA at a sale price, I was like sweet great radio great price, Wrong......Worst sounding radio ever wont stay tunned on a station, Bass sucks, If its cold out the display acts up.
Summary: I'm soo disappointed with this purchase since I'm customer and I like amazon. I didn't have a good experience at all with this Boss audio. The CD dosent work and the AM/FM dosent listen good because the anthena.
Summary: This system replaced the same model that no longer worked. Not a bad radio or audio system for running around in your car. If your looking for a superior quality sound system, then this is not the model that you want.
Summary: First the good: ... well that's it! really can't say anything good about it. The bad: - Radio has NO memories for tuner - Tuner wonders and loses stations (those it can actually get). You set it to a frequency, then the signal get worse, and you look down, and the frequency has changed - maybe it's possessed. - Selectivity stinks! you get nearby stations interfering with the station you're listening to - Durability is VERY poor.
Summary: This is not a flashy cd player, but does it's job. Comes at a great price and works flawlessly. This unit was hooked up to a 2000 watt amp pushing 4 boss 600 watt subs and even though this unit is only 40wX4 it still had plenty of power to push the system and it can be heard around the block.
