Summary: Its what I was looking for. Great sound, tons of options, and it looks real good in place of the factory radio. Only complaint is that the clock doesn't stay on, you have to change the display anytime you want the time
Summary: I am 60 years old and have been somewhat of an audiophile for most of my life. My experience can be traced back to installing an 8 track tape player in a 68 Camaro. I installed this Boss unit in my 2002 Ford Ranger Edge as a replacement for the original CD/Radio (CD mech went bad). I ordered the wiring harness and double din installation kit from Amazon also.
If you are thinking about buying this radio, think again

Summary: No matter what the description says it is not a plug and play for fords. If you are looking for a stereo that will replace the sound quality of the premium sound system that came with the mustang GT, this unite is not it..Lame controls, weak performance, poor sound quality..Why would anyone sell such a piece of crap and call it a premium sound system.
Summary: first to begin i was not told that the boss deck dont read cd fast enough and after about 6 songs they fail to read i really wasted my hard earned money on this stuff and its a wasted dont buy
Summary: Originally left good feedback but spoke too soon. Have only had a week and already radio is not picking up local stations. Also, blue display lights are VERY bright with no way to dim. Was unhappy to learn there is no clock. Paid to have installed so not a simple solution to return. This was a Christmas present for my son so very disappointed.
Summary: This radio's cd player worked for a few months and now it doesn't play any cds radio still works ok but now I have to replace the cd player again usb port doesn't work..... I wouldn't recommend.
