Excerpt: Been looking to update my head unit for a while and eventually went for this Alpine unit and im really glad I did. Great sound quality, handsfree is as good if not better that a parrot kit I previously owned.
Excerpt: If like me you don't really use cd's anymore and all your music is on your iphone, I bought one of these and I have to say the sound is brilliant http://www.halfords.com/sat-nav-audio/car-audio/dab-radios-car-stereos/alpine-ute-72bt-drive-less-head-unit-with-bluetooth-and-ipod Comes complete with a microphone (inside the fascia case) and works seamlessly with the iphone for hands free calling,
The best standard DIN mechless player that Halford's has.

Excerpt: Really punchy sound when used with my ipod classic with .flac files. The tuner is every bit as good as the old Alpine CD unit I replaced it with too. Reasonable robust but the menus/file selections are a little frustrating to use - but hey, sound is the most important thing to me.
Excerpt: I have been after a replacement for the CD based Sendai unit fitted in my Citroen Relay van. The CD was always jamming and it had a tinny sound, so I thought I would upgrade to a Bluetooth unit for phone calls and also playing music through my Samsung Galaxy S5 Mobile. I checked out reviews on a few sites and came across the Alpine UTE-72BT Head Unit. All the reviews I read were positive but some had a few minor gripes. Anyway I thought I would give it a try.
Excerpt: I don't often leave reviews for products I buy, but this is the second time of purchasing this head unit (two different cars) and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone. If you have a big CD collection and mainly listen to those, then this is not for you as it doesn't have a CD player. But for those who are like me, and only have a digital music collection on their phone or a subscription to Spotify, this is perfect!
Excellent Head Unit with Brilliant Bluetooth integration

Excerpt: Really simple to install the product. Bluetooth works brilliantly with the included microphone even in a convertible. The A2DP Functionality is great. I get into the car and it connects to my phone and continues playing from where it left off. Includes specific EQ settings for a Sub.
Excerpt: I needed to add a hands-free bluetooth set to my (ancient) car, and this does the trick very nicely, for very little money. Sound quality is very good, call quality is clear in both directions, and it connects with my phone without any problems. Key in the ignition, stereo comes on, done. It also has a quite capable FM radio.
Excerpt: Pretty good. The display could have been better designed - track titles are very truncated, because the font is so big, and the unit would work better in a left-hand drive car - too far to reach the main controls, and anything in the USB port blocks the view of the display.
