Don't buy unless you have very dark tinted windows or only drive at night

Summary: Horrible, horrible glare on the display. It's pretty much useless in the daylight. I'd be willing to bet my life that at least one person has gotten into an accident trying to read the display. I had to jailbreak my iPhone so I could install an app called NoAccessorySplash. When the iPhone is plugged in via Alpine's proprietary USB/30 pin adapter (another major gripe -- why not make the damn thing work without the adapter?
Summary: had the radio professionally installed blue tooth break out box, would not work with device phones droid x and i phone 4s that all would say was no device available bought a 25.00 direct alpine cable for iPod and iPhone direct connection would not see the iPhone as well the front usb connection worked fine with the Pandora and iPhone but i bought the radio for the blue tooth and the direct connect for my iPhone 4s what a waste of money
Summary: DO NOT BUY FROM, They are Cons. Bought a Alpine IDA-X305s head unit from them. 1 month after install it shut down. I bought a warranty through squaretrade warranties, but i couldnt claim it being as they scratched the Serial Number off the bottom and put a bogus sticker over it to hide it. DO NOT buy ANYTHING from these People...
Summary: Alpine iDA-X305 - Radio / digital player - Full-DIN - in-dash - 50 Watts x 4 The iDA-X305 is the worst car audio product I have ever purchased. It has a lovely display, but it is only usable if all you want to do is listen to the iPod. Sound quality was dreadful, but this may have been be a setting or installation problem. The manual and settings are in some sections largely incomprehensible.
Summary: I purchased this item together with the Bluetooth module. While the sound quality is very good I believe it provides very little value: - The iPad and Pandora user interface is extremely slow - The screen is small, has significant glare, and is away from the driver - When cycling through sources they are: ..., iPod, Pandora, BT Audio, ...
Pros: Sorry folks, there are no Pros here. This X305 unit was purchased for the sole purpose of accessing an iphone's music library while on the road. However, the unit just doesn't work with the IPhone. No audio output.
Cons: Alpine's marketing blurb says the X305 is designed to work with Apple's IPhone. Well, they didn't do a great job on the interface. X305 doesn't work with my IPhone which is a 3G running the latest version of the operating system.
Cons: FAKE Chrome dial made out of plastic! Don't work with iphone always cuts out and errors message...Album ART very blurry, why bother. Big talk on car audio forms aswell about this fake-ass unit... RIP OFF $699 AUD Dail also horrible control very slow
Pros: Works well for a stereo with Blue tooth and HD Radio
Cons: Advertised as a fully compatible iPhone component. If you leave the iPhone connected for any time, it completely looses sync, and only solution is to hardboot both the phone and the stereo. Awful integration, and of course its Apples fault not Alpine
