Summary: Nice receiver with enough power to push four smaller speakers in a stock vehicle setting. Very good sound as has been expected from ALPINE. I recommend you team up with a 4 channel amp and 6x9 rear with 6 1/2 fronts. As a stand alone, Really good sound while not blowing the budget! Teamed up with some Kicker speakers and a 4 channel amp - very nice system that is still affordable!
Summary: Great receiver as always by alpine. Was easy to install and was a outstanding upgrade from my factory radio. I considered this to be a great deal as the price was cheap and the shipping was cheap. I would recommend this to everyone.
Summary: Receiver is awesome. Very tunable and looks great. I only use a usb drive to listen to music, so i have no idea how good the signal is that comes in through fm stations. If you want the last radio you will ever buy... Get this one.
Summary: First off, I was a huge fan of Alpine in the late nineties. They were awesome pieces of equipment back then, and going by that.... Figured I'd buy a new one after not having a car for 10+ years. CD functionality is good. Sound quality is good but not excellent. My main gripe with this thing is the MP3 functionality, A.K.A the main function I bought it. For some odd reason it does not play files in order by file name or track number within a folder.
Summary: Pros: -Great iPod/iPhone support -Color display -Easy to navigate -Great sound quality -External HDD/Flash drive compatible (formatted with FAT32) Cons: -No Aux. Line in (unless purchased separate and swapped for the iPod/USB cable) -No CD Player (I didn't care, but some people still use disk based media)
