Summary: Gotta say Magic Sound sucks. They are out to make a quick buck and do not care if your products work or not. I returned this faulty stereo and they said we checked the pre amp out out andnit works. Hahaha u cant fully test a cd player just by checking the pre outs. I had a horrible time out of magic sound. Folks you work hard for your money and your time is valuable. They don't care about either.
Summary: This headunit is pretty good. If you have a smartphone and are using apps such as Google Play or Pandora, this will work for you. Every now and then, when I get in the car, I must push the faceplate eject button and reset it to get the bluetooth going again. For some reason it does not always search for the phone. Other than that, it is pretty cool. When I get into the car, it will pick up my phone and automatically play Google Play Music.
Good sound quality and features, but short bluetooth range

Summary: I installed this receiver on my boat inside the cabin with the hope that I could connect my phone or iPod via bluetooth and keep that with me on deck to control the music. It works OK if you keep the device right at the door within line-of-sight (or close to it) of the receiver, but if I have it in my pocket behind the steering wheel the signal constantly cuts in and out.
Summary: I replaced an older but not old Alpine system with this one. The bluetooth works great, and does not require the external bluetooth receiver like my old one which never worked that well and finally quit. I've been using this one about a month and have enjoyed it. Better controls, hands-free mike works great. Good unit. I recommend for the price, especially.
Summary: Love this tuner. There are so many ways to contour the sound with this thing. It is very easy to operate despite the complex architecture of the device. Blue tooth synced up with my windows phone and Ipad3 fine. I would suggest getting the remote control for it, 15 bucks or so.
Summary: My wife wanted the Bluetooth feature among other things and this fit the bill. Had Kenwood in her car and you had to go to "Night School" to figure out how to use. The Alpine gives great sound and I far less complicated to operate.
Summary: This was my first Alpine head unit, I decided on it mainly because of the reviews and the alpine reputation for sound quality and overall quality. This did not disappoint. Overall quality is good, I have had issues in the past with the removeable faceplates that would have an intermittent connection etc.. none of that here. Bluetooth call quality using the included microphone is awesome and works perfectly.
Summary: What can I say. I have owned an Alpine radio since 1973. They make good product for your money. About the 147bt radio,I have no complaints yet. The only reason I bought this model was because of the bt. The sound quality compared to my old dfw 117 is slightly better. So far so good. Installation was done in 1 minute due to the fact all I had to do was pull the old one out, plug in the new one in ,all the wires are the same, except the outputs where upside down compared to...
Summary: I purchased this unit hoping to make a few improvements to my sound over the factory head unit. I had been running a Rockford Fosgate T400-4 amp to JBL components and a RF Punch 12 subwoofer through a line out converter and Cadence equalizer in my 2013 Hyundai Sonata . The Alpine unit did 2 things I like. It eliminated the very minor, but noticeable between songs, hissing sound. Also, the time alignment feature helped the front stage by centering the vocals.
