  • Summary: This is a great product. I paired mine with a Alpine KTP-445A Power Pack and got and very nice unit with all the power I'll ever need, and with all the free wiring and dash kit supplied I actually had fun installing it in my 04 Ram 1500 quad cab. USB port, Blue Tooth for my phone.....I could go on and on. I love it.
  • Pros: Easy Easy Easy

  • Summary: Solid deck for the price, a lot of features for the money. Fairly easy installation, took a couple of hours but that is mostly due to the 01 Expedition I installed it in. Nice large display, easy to read clock, illuminates nicely. Crutchfield service was top notch. Sound is good but get some distortion on high level notes, haven't had a chance to troubleshoot yet. I paired this deck with Kicker 6x9's and much improved over factory set up.
  • Pros: iPod compatibility, nice easy to read display
  • Cons: Little difficult to navigate all the features but eventually you figure it out

  • Summary: As I received it only a few days ago on past Thursday. Friday after work, I did the first stage which was remove the front panel which held my factory car stereo. That evening, I switched out the factory car stereo with the alpine. And yesterday , I wired up the 2 harnesses , and placed it into my car, I did a test check first, turn on the key, I saw alpine display come on the car stereo. Removed key, finally reattach the panel which held my new alpine car stereo.
  • Pros: Easy to use and operate
  • Cons: None

  • Summary: Bluetooth works decent. Skips once on the first use of the day for some reason (Android). One thing I really like about it is its capability to up the MP3's sound quality/fullness lost through compression. One thing I really dislike about it is the volume knob is also used to jump to a other tracks on a cd when pushed in. I drive an old bouncy truck and simply turning down the volume can turn into a fiasco.
  • Pros: Tons of features Affordable Not too flashy. No dash rainbow nonsense Very expandable
  • Cons: Ergonomics

  • Summary: This is a very good receiver. I looked at what all of the receivers were offering before I settled on this one. The features it has at this price point are really good. I wanted hands free calling, hd radio, and bluetooth music streaming capabilities. It delivered all of these at a low price point. I didn't even need the cd player, that was just gravy.
  • Pros: Easy to set up, pair stereo with phone. Much easier than, say, my boss's new ford pickup factory stereo. Good sound quality. I tested this unit against other much pricier ones at Car Toys with the same speakers, using source material that is easy to hear problems with (flac record rips with lots of triangles and other percussion) Sound will always be better from this than anything you can produce in a vehicle probably.
  • Cons: The mic included seems to be really weak, people have a terrible time understanding me. I have played with the levels of the mic but still have to put it right next to my head or pull over and switch off bluetooth for important convos. The battery indicator always displays the same thing on the stereo's lcd. They may as well not include it. Sometimes bluetooth doesn't resume playing, even after pushing play/pause. You have to cycle through the sound sources back to bt...
