Summary: I never seen a car radio like this. It is fantastic. But, I was just trying to update the firmware this morning. I downloaded the right file from their website. It messed up my CDE-133BT and it cannot turn on now. I spent the entire day looking for solutions. It looks like a lot of people are complaining about the same thing. Google it and you will see for yourself. There is nothing you can do with the device once the update fails.
Great Sound But Frequent BT Connection Issues & Bad Phone Mic

Summary: I have had this system for a little over a year. Have had two phones with it (Android Bionic running Gingerbread and Android Razr Maxx running Ice Cream Sandwich, ICS). When it works right, I love it. It sounds beautiful and it is fairly easy to operate with little adjustment needed. Though I wish it would assume that the same device is connected on start-up and only go through the connection establishment process when it realizes the connection has been lost.
Summary: I installed this head unit in my truck a few weeks ago. It sounds great, but it has connectivity issues with my Motorola Razr Maxx. It will pair and connect, but after about fifteen seconds it pauses and will not reconnect. It did the same thing with my Samsung Charge phone, so it seems it's a problem with android phones in general. Based on Kenneth S's review I purchased an Alpine CDE-136BT. The 136 works perfectly. Same great sound and solid connectivity.
Summary: Just got off the phone with Alpine tech department. Told me that there working on a firmware update to address this issue but until then I have to give this head unit a one star. iPhone 5 (ios 6.0.1) will pair with the head unit but you cannot hear any audio, same thing through USB connection.
Summary: Bought this unit in August for iphone, Worked great till iOS upgrade. No frickin' useless and all we get from Alpine is "We are working on it"... How about a frickin' due date at least! Or let us trade in for something that works! EDITED: Firmware came out, but lost allot of the BT functionality that did exist. But ok now.

Summary: Das Autoradio von Alpine überzeugt in der Verarbeitung.
