"This receiver works great when the IPod is directly connected to the unit. The problem is that when you hook up the bluetooth interface, there is an audible background squeal when you play the IPod. Sounds like background intereference. Tried switching out the interface, but had the same problem. Will contact Alpine about this problem. Great system if your not planning on using the bluetooth."
