Summary: This R500-1D works very well with my existing audio system in my 2000 BMW 740il. The system needed some good Bass and this amp did the job. The fact that it required a small foot print is a plus.
Very good quality, perfect for my audio system in my daily car.

Summary: I am french, sorry for my bad english. Perfect, very goog quality. I bought it to make me a nice system for my 320i e36. I associated it has a sub Dub2000 which cashes 400W Rms under 2ohm, and this ampli delivers 500W Rms under 2ohm, it's perfect. The remote control transported convict is great practical because I can adjust the level of bass easily without touching has no regulation. That of the happiness for my use.
Summary: The Amplifier is hooked up into two P-3 10" Rockford Fosgates at 4 ohms. The sound quality is sufficient even though my speakers are starving for more this amp puts out about 325 Watts RMS at 4 OHMs. Just what the doctor ordered.
Conclusion: When I first pulled this amp out its packaging, I had to laugh a little. It's got a footprint that's only a bit bigger than a CD case. It weighs a couple of pounds at most, and has a very understated look. The birth sheet states 558 watts RMS @ 2ohms. I hooked it up to an MTX RTS12-04 in a factory spec box. I used 8-gauge power wire from RF and 10 gauge speaker wire.
Conclusion: I'm running this in a 99 olds intrigue (stock electric) with a hypnotic 12" zen in a 3.25 cuft box tuned at 34 hz and its nuts. I was disappointed when I seen I bought the smaller r500.1d instead of the older r500.1 which is roughly 9" wider. Regardless this little guy slams, it's definitely worth the price I recommend to all. Amp came with a birth sheet stating 560 rms @ 2 ohms Look/design received a 4 because of the spade terminals.
