Summary: Can't beat Pioneer's quality. Using 4 gauge power/ground wire is a necessity even going for full output. Running 4 Pioneer 10" subs at 4 ohms, Sounds great, no problems most of the time, Bass heavy music "can" shut the amp off if gains and bass boost are not properly set. Built in safety feature will cut the amps power if it pulls to much current. Class D amp, so no heat problems, even with extended play. Overall, this amplifier is great value and quality.
Summary: I've had this hooked up to my 2 kicker CVR 12s for about 6 months now and i havent encountered a single problem. this puts out an awesome amount of power, and i never fail to amaze everyone who gets in my car. the amp never gets too hot and is just an overall great product.
Summary: Just got the Pioneer GM-D9601 and hooked it up to a Pioneer TS-W3002D2 sub at a 1 ohm load since its 1ohm stable and its rocking hard. Nice sound, deep bass but i cant figure out why the bass. at times. cuts off.....maybe too much power. Overall i would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: looks output
Cons: Bass cuts off at times. Maybe its just the way i have it hooked up (user error)
