Conclusion: I'll save you a long review. I have this running 2 old school fosgates at 1 ohm. If this puts out 800 watts sustained at 1 ohm, I'm the Queen of Switzerland (Switzerland has no Queen). The sound quality is mediocre at best as well.
Conclusion: This amp, as stated is 1 ohm stable. I am running it in 1 ohm with 2 shallow mount fosgate 10s. Not a complaint. Included bass knob functions well. Nice sound and is a great fit for the truck!
Conclusion: I'm pretty sure this will do roughly do it's 300W RMS into 4 ohms, but 500W RMS into 2 ohms I think is pushing it pretty hard. As for 800W RMS into 1 ohms - I have very strong doubts about that (and if it does, it surely won't for very long at all).
Summary: This amp is by far the best I've ever owned. It has all the power you could ever want, and even after pushing it I have never felt any heat coming from it. It has never shut itself off or missed a beat.
Pros: Fits under my passenger seat, so getting the settings dialed in was easy from the drivers seat, and the seat bolt worked as a good chassis grounding point. Also the base boost remote can be ran pretty much anywhere you want it, for adding or lowering bass for different types of music and recordin...
Cons: None that I have found. I used velcro to secure it in place under the passenger seat. It can't come out with the seat bolted in, so the brackets weren't an issue for me.
