Features

The Pioneer GM-D7400M is a mono bass class D amplifier with a compact design that takes two thirds space of the current of a conventional amplifier. Power supply to both subwoofer and front and rear speakers is stable comparatively which results in minimum input power to produce high output power. The amplifier's PWM (Pulse Width Modulator) modulates the original audio input signal with a triangulated signal wave which has a much higher fixed frequency, resulting in a digital signal which contains both the input signal and a band of frequency components around the modulation frequency. A LPF (Low Pass Filter) filters out the high frequency pulses and results in an amplified output signal to the subwoofer and/or speakers. The bass boost features give users control over the sound and allows for optimal bass level for each speaker at 0dB, 6dB, or 12dB. The GM-D7400M's speaker level inputs allow users to connect an OEM unit (or any unit that doesn't have the typical RCA-type inputs) without having to buy add-on adapters.
