The KAC-9104D also has a Dual Mono Drive connection that allows you to strap two KAC-9104D amps together to power a single subwoofer—that’s 1800 Watts of power!
The Kenwood KAC-9104D is a class D 1800 Watts (Maximum Output) power with 30% smaller chassis size. It has an RMS rating of 500 watts x 1 at 4 ohms (900 watts x 1 at 2 ohms) with 1-ohm stable (output regulated to 900 Watts). It has variable low-pass filter (50-200 Hz at -24 dB per octave) plus Bass Boost Control (0-18 dB at 40 Hz). The unit hasa singnal to noise ratio of 94 dB with in put sensitivity of 0.2 - 5V. It requires a power supply of 14.4 V (at 11 - 16V). It measures 13-1…

On the other side, your signal enters the amp through a pair of RCA inputs. Use both of them and the amp sums them together for a mono (full) signal. The signal passes through a gain control, then the lowpass crossover, and finally the infrasonic filter before going to the output stage. All of the components in the signal side are surface mount with the exception of some electrolytic capacitors, which are inserted from the other side of the PCB. Read more
Have 2 of these hooked up to 2 12" premiers 3000 watt subs. Powers them very nicely wired to 1 ohm. I used to have 2000 watt 2 channel but these beat it by far. They are not a good as other brands of the same watts, but for half the price or more it is alot better deal. Read more
I have this amp connected to two alpine type Rs in a sealed box wired to 1 Ohm and MAN IT MOVES AIR! The amp has not cutout once. I have 45 min commutes and has not caused any problems. It gets alittle warm but does a fine job of cooling its self. Great amp, sounds good and the price is right. I would buy another one again. Read more
I had this hooked up to 2 alpine type r 12's at a 1ohm load and it hit so hard I removed one because I was losing my hearing. I don't know why people have a problem with the amp cutting out I have no problems whatsoever. True it is only putting out 644 watts RMS at 14.4 volts. I also have a 5 farad capacitor in use along with my setup maybe that helps, it helped my lights stop dimming. Before the capacitor when the bass hit hard at high levels it was actually shutting...
