Summary: I got this thing used in 2000. It has been in my old 1990 Camaro pumping out bass ever since. I blew the plastic MTX logo off of the voice coils of my subs TWICE! I'm going to install it in my '06 Fusion next week. Squeaky clean bass is all I've ever heard from it. By far it is the best amplifier I've ever owned.
Summary: Whoa - this amp is definitely all it is cracked up to be. My friend owns a profile CA1200 and is very proud of it so I decided to show him what TRU power sounds like. heheheheheh lets just say that is made his CA1200 look like a low power hunk of metal that takes up too much space in his trunk. We were running the gain near 70 percent for a little while on his 12's and they stayed clean. it was the loudest I have ever heard them get.
Summary: I read the reviews on this amp before I decided to buy it. I don''t have it yet but it''s on the way right now (internet order)for the JBL BP1200.1 I paid $255 with shipping. I also just ordered the new Subzone duel 10" vented box $150 with shipping and 2 10" 2ohm DVC 2002 Kicker L7''s. If this amp puts out what the reviews say, my system should hit hard. I may wind up up getting the MTX81000D that I wanted but the JBL amp was at such a good price I couldn''t pass it up.
