Summary: Incredible piece, lots of adjustability in sound, compact design makes it fit where other amps won't. plenty of power to run a average system, pushes a pair of 12" infinity reference series just fine. If you're looking to build a moderate system for your vehicle, you will not go wrong with this amp. Looking to build another system in the wife's HUMMER and probably going to use a KAPPA FIVE to run that system too.
Summary: I got this amplifier a year or so ago. I've had it in a variety of applications. At first, I liked it very much, but I could always tell that the sound wasn't quite there. I figured that the distortion must have been coming from my other components. Well, I've replaced everything besides this amp--CDA-117 head unit, K2 Power speakers--and the sound is still not there. This unit is a very compact amplifier. I hadn't realized this when I bought it.
Pros: Good for small spaces, looks cool, comes with nice terminal adapter for lower gauge wire.
Cons: Sound quality just isn't there, sibilance exaggeration, poor headroom on subwoofer channel (I have to have the subwoofer gain up all the way on the amp and all the way on my head unit with 4v outputs, and have the speaker gain turned to less than I'd like so that the subs can keep up) , questionable electronic filtering
Conclusion: I have 2 of these units that i bought 10 months ago. One is in my car and the other in my son's car. Mine is still working great and his went out causing the speakers to squil. He was always adjusting his (teenager) but he did know what he was doing. I got mine set the way I like it and had no issues. We are running kappa 4oms speakers/sub with a rockford head. Make sure that you put spacers (1/4" min) between the unit and what you are mounting it to or it will overheat.
Conclusion: The build quality of the amp is excellent. I may have just got a defective item. 2 of the channels for the speakers do not put out their full potential power. I have tried switching rca's and I even bought a new deck and new speakers because I thought the outputs were messed up on my Panasonic deck. Come to find out, putting all of that new equipment in did nothing. It has been the amp the whole time. But who would have known? It's a "new" amp.
good price but it does not work-lonfg wait to get support or anything

Summary: it's a 5 channel and high end series of infinity but the sub woofer output does not work (it does produce bass but barely audible compare other 4 chanles that I still hook up from the head unit. Called for support and get a run around that I did not know what I am doing. I did a test after talking to a tech by borrowing a 2 channel amp (cheaper than the infinity I paid for) from my brother-in-law's that I just installed.
Summary: Nice compact size and really performs! I have mine powering 4 6x9 Infinity Kappas and 2 12" Kicker Subs. More than enough power! It's quite a show piece too, with nice blue lights. I purchased it a month ago and has been performing flawlessly. A good investment and I highly recommend this amp!
The car amp came defective, sent it back to them and dont know the status

Summary: The amplifier came defective out of the box, I used to be a professional car audio tech, cable supervisor and electrician. I know my way around electronic devices, this amp as soon as I put power to it, it would cycle on and off quickly. I know its a factory refurb, but it should work better since they should have got the kinks out of it after it fault the first time.
