Summary: The top of the line. 4-channel + Mono = 5-channel. It's a 5-channel amp that has plenty of power for whatever system you're trying to run and it's small enough to mount to the back of a single sub box or under your seat like I did. My PDX is powering four 6x9 type R door speakers and soon to add a single type R 12. This amp has had plenty of power for the last 3 months for my 6x9's and should keep me kicking hard after I add the 12.
Summary: Plenty of power in a small package. Supplies distortion free sound. I am running Infinity's 6.5, Polks 4.5 and a Polk 10 inch sub. The Polk sub seems to have taken more power from the amp then a previous MTX sub, but still sounds great.
Summary: I bought the Alpine PDX-5 to power Alpine Type R componets in all 4 doors and a subwoofer in my Ford Explorer. This amp is exactly what I was hoping it would be. Small and lite so it was easy to conceal under a seat in the second row. I've had it a few months now and it's been completely reliable. The system gets extremely loud and stays clear and the sub can rattle all the mirrors and windows.
Summary: I am using this AMP to run my entire system. This amp works great. It is compact but powerful. I was running a Fosgate amp before and I have to say the sound quality completely changed for the better when I went with this Alpine amp.
Summary: I have this Amp powering my whole system in my SUV. Sounds Awesome! Two 6x9's in the front, two 6.5" in the rear and a 10" JL Audio sub. The power certification that came with the amp stated a much higher power output. Just over 100 watts per channel x4 and 409 watts on the momo channel!
Summary: Great product, gotta love Alpine. The size of this amp doesn't do a justice on how good it is. Bigger isn't always better in this case. Had it for over a month and perfect no problems so far and small and compact fit. Definatly spend a little more money and get this amazing amp, you get what you pay for.
