Don L, Crutchfield
  • Summary: Got my new KTP-445A yesterday via UPS - as usual, very quick shipping by the good folks at Crutchfield. After working hours, I was able to install the unit in my 2007 Jetta Wolfsburg, connected to my CDE HD137BT in
  • Pros: Fits most anywhere Long harness leads Solid locking connectors Easy installation Great clarity
  • Cons: No more adjustable levels (though I'd have probably run them at max output and let the HU make the changes...)

Great Product

  • Conclusion: Quick easy installation. Just plug it in between your Alpine radio and the wiring harness that came with the radio and within minutes you have louder and in my case clearer sounding music.

Big power for a small pack. Easy install behind head unit in dash.

bpgator93, Ebay
10 November 2014
  • Summary: Nice improved power with this small pack. Easy install. Did require splicing to existing wiring harness. I should have ordered the KTP-445U (for the universal head unit), but the extra splicing was minimal.

very good amp, easy install

GWF82 from Palestine, TX, Sonic Electronix
20 October 2014
  • Conclusion: If you own an alpine head unit this is the amp for you. If you don't need a huge amount of power this will work, small enough to place in the dash, its just plug and play, and it doesn't pick up alt whine which is why I'm using it
