Velbon Sherpa 200R

JayC, Crutchfield
25 September 2013
  • Summary: A sturdy tripod that's used for a camcorder and a DSLR camera. The legs are easy to adjust and lock into place quite nicely. I like that the shoe has a bit of foam padding to keep my devices scratch free. A bit pricey but worth the investment.

Great video tripod

ramerson, epinions.com
24 August 2012
  • Summary: Great little low-end tripod. If you don't have the big bucks, this will give you a good video shot with panning.
  • Pros: Sturdy, smooth action for video
  • Cons: No handle, no place for weight, no spikes on feet

Pretty good

J Foo, Adorama
15 January 2011
  • Excerpt: I rounded up because I couldn't give it 3.5 stars. It's a pretty decent tripod for still shots that I managed to get at a rather good price. It's just a very standard tripod, without the bells and whistles and snakey, bendy, swivel action of more advanced and expensive models. It also doesn't fold up to the size of an '80s cell phone either, like those fancy types, but the trade off is I get enough versatility in heigh without having to place it anywhere other than solid...
  • Pros: Good Stability
  • Cons: Cumbersome

das ist echt ein gutes Stativ

D. Henke "manhenk", Amazon
31 October 2013
