  • Excerpt: Very strong monopod. I buy a ball head Silk SBH-120 DQ for use it and can handle very well my Nikon D7000 with a Nikon 80-200mm lens. The legs are strong enough.

  • Excerpt: I have had one of these for many years, but finally lost it this spring, so I immediately got another. It's light and compact but sturdy (I have used it as a treking pole). The section locks always work fine. All you need is a ball head, and you're good to go.

Dite, WEX
8 January 2011
  • Summary: I was looking for something not too expensive which would be easy to carry on outdoor rambles to support my camera for photos taken at dusk/twilight, and other moderately low-light situations. This fits the bill perfectly. It is no heavier than a paperback novel.
  • Pros: Excellent value, Lightweight, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
