Excerpt: Works great! I suspect that another reviewer, who had a problem with the unit, may not have had the tension properly engaged. Without properly engaging the tension, that is how the tripod behaves. Once turning on tension, you must tilt down and then up to engage it.

Excerpt: This is an excellent fluid head for small cameras. It is solidly built yet light weight. The fluid motion for panning and tilting is very smooth and tilting is very controllable. Unit should have more control for panning however, although the default action is very good for making videos.
