Sturdy with concerns

iPhone Photographer, B&H Photo
5 February 2014
  • Excerpt: I bought the PH-10 to use with my iPhone, monopod (Manfrotto 790B), and Glif (from StudioNeat). While the PH-10 is not needed for landscape photos (I just use the monopod and Glif), it is useful for panorama photos taken in portrait orientation, a significant iPhone 5s feature. I wanted a tilting head without the added bulk of quick release and the PH-10 meets the requirement. It tilts easily 90º left or right and stops at a perfect right angle.
  • Pros: Accurate 90º Tilt, Attaches Firmly, Good Stability
  • Cons: Heavy, No Vertical Mark

Tilt Head works great for panos

TERRY, B&H Photo
26 June 2013
  • Excerpt: I got this to tilt the pan head on a 360 pano head. You can capture rows by slightly tilting the head. I only wanted tilt up/down movement and this works great. The quality is much better than I expected, the head is made of all metal. From the picture it looks like plastic and there is nothing mentioned about materials in the product description. BH is fast shipping on this item to the West Coast.
  • Pros: Metal Construction, Quality Craftsmanship, Sturdy

Small & Strong

Kirk, Adorama

  • Excerpt: Works great. Small & strong. I really like the large well formed grip for locking. If you don't want to keep a "plate" on bottom of camera, then this "spin" camera attachment will please you.
  • Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Strong Clamp

Gets your camera just where you need it

Jim, B&H Photo
18 June 2012
  • Excerpt: I use the PH-10 to top off my monopod. Its added 3 inch height allows me to get my DSLR to a comfortable eye level, with a little room to make adjustments. The tilt allows the monopod shaft to remain vertical while pointing the camera upward or downward, making the monopod much more versatile.
  • Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Large Range of Motion, Strong Clamp
  • Cons: None
