Excerpt: I bought one of the least expensive monopods I could find at the main B&H store on 34th and 9th. This one worked well. It was high enough and could swivel around. It seems pretty durable and well machined.
Excerpt: It's a monopod and it is pretty sturdy. I have a Canon 6D and a 70-200mm 4.0 lens and it has no problem holding it up. I got this one because of the tilt feature, which comes in handy for portrait style shots. This is my second one... I lost the first one.
Summary: I'm really impressed with the quality of the product, especially the smooth operation of the clamps on the slide out sections. And the tilting camera mount on the head of the monopod is excellent as well.
Summary: Was just what I needed to take telephoto pics of birds & wildlife. It has a regular mount not fixed. Durable. Only thing I wished it had was a strap to put over my shoulder. It has a belt clip, but a little to heavy.
