All angles

  • Excerpt: I bought this tripod for macro work. I like how easy it is to bring up the center column and swing to the side. But be careful on the length when pulling up the bar because the camera will make it heavy on one side to cause a tip over. Overall works great.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Lightweight

Just what you need

Bemo, Adorama

  • Excerpt: This tripod works great for photographing papers, documents, books, objects, etc. where you shoot straight down at the object. It is so much easier than taping something to a wall or surface or trying to hold the object up and shooting parallel to the ground.Of course you can use it for almost most...
  • Pros: Affordable, Many Uses
  • Cons: No Quick Mount

  • Excerpt: The tripod is sturdy and will support my Canon 5D with no problem. It is a bit heavy but the carrying case will help to pack it around.
  • Pros: Good Stability

Glad I went with this tripod!

  • Excerpt: I was worried about height, but this tripod is more than adequate for my 5'9" frame. My favorite thing though by far, is the center column! I love how it allows me to position the camera at so many different angles.

Terrific Tripod

29 January 2013
  • Excerpt: My first "real" tripod. My others have been El Cheapo and good only for use on even, solid ground. Haven't stress-tested it yet, but I'm looking forward to doing so soon. Based on my playing with it so far, I have a great deal of confidence it will suit my needs.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

MarcyMarc, PriceGrabber
15 August 2012
  • Summary: I purchased this tripod about a month ago and have taken it on several photowalks through some major cities (Atlanta, New York, San Francisco). This tripod lends itself well to this kind of use. It is extremely sturdy....even with my 5DM2 on it.
  • Pros: Extremely sturdy, versatile, and easy to set up in a hurry.
  • Cons: Can be a wee bit on the heavy side if carrying for long lengths of time.

Quality of the materials is poor

krivo, Adorama
10 September 2011
  • Excerpt: Quality of this tripod is really poor. After 1.5 years of light use locks that keep legs at the angle are no longer working. Locks that tighten legs sections hardly working. Central column when in the used in horizontal position is wobbly to the point of being useless.
  • Pros: Good Stability, Unfolds Quickly
  • Cons: Weak Construction

This is the tripod for all JOBS.

frog, Adorama
4 September 2011
  • Excerpt: This is the most versatile tripod I have seen. It can be adjusted for any conceivable position. The leg widths can be adjusted to three different degree's. Add a ballhead and there is no limit to what angle or direction you can shoot.
  • Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight
