Great tripod

  • Excerpt: It's an awesome piece, just that you gotta make sure to loosen the crank before you make the top part higher cuz it's a little sensitive. I definitely recommend it!

Great for the Price

  • Excerpt: Has good height adjustments, can go low, and can go fairly high. The head is very functional and easy to use. Overall, it is pretty sturdy, with the exception of the smallest part of the legs; they are a little wobbly when fully extended, but they are fine once there is a floor beneath them.
  • Pros: Easy to use, Folds Small, Good Construction, Good Stability, Lightweight
  • Cons: Set-up Is Time Consuming

Gets it done!

  • Excerpt: The tripod serves its purpose. It is a good deal for the price. The control over the camera is good, but there is a question of how sturdy the skinny legs of the tripod are. The length of the legs adjust easily. Doesn't travel very well - consider investing in a case.
  • Pros: Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly

Excellent tripod for a photo enthusiast.

  • Excerpt: I bought this tripod for my Nex 7. The quality is good. I do not own any other tripods, so I cannot compare it with others. The height adjustment mechanism is very user friendly and quick. The dimensions are exactly as mentioned in the product specifications. It is light weight, but not flimsy.

  • Excerpt: I am really impressed with the quality of this tripod. It sets up in seconds, is really lightweight, is sturdy and has smooth pan for vids. Quality far exxceeds price! I also purchased the Slik Tripod Case Medium which works perfectly with this. Light enough to carry all day.

Not a heavy-weight tripod

JD, B&H Photo
30 January 2014
  • Excerpt: Overall good workmanship on the head. The legs are very thin when they are fully extended, making it pretty wobbly. I purchased this for Photography/Filming. The light weight design just didn't have enough heft and stability.
  • Pros: Lightweight
  • Cons: Unstable
