Excerpt: I have no complaints about the PRO 700 DX tripod, but this attached pan and tilt head needs improvement. When the handles are loosened enough to allow movement of the head, the handles are loose and floppy in their threads.
Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Large Range of Motion, Strong Clamp
Excerpt: This is the sturdiest and most heavy-duty tripod I have found at this price-point. I use this with my Canon 40D for studio portraits and I have been extremely happy with the build quality of this tripod.
Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Heavy, Knuckle Locks, Totally adjustable post
Excerpt: This is the same head I had before, but broke. this is an acceptable head for my use as I don't use my tripod all the time. Would not reccomend for heavy use. Clamps are not the strongest, but are not weak by any means.
Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Large Range of Motion
Summary: I have had a Slik Pro II Tripod for a few years but hardly used it because the ball-head that came with it was difficult to adjust. It also let my lenses drift. This two way head is unbelievably easy to adjust even with your eye at the viewfinder.
Pros: Compact, Easily Adjusted, Locks In Tight, Smooth Movement
