Excerpt: Got this tripod to use in my spotting scope setup. It is definitely up to the task. This tripod is very well made and very stable. For the price asked, this is an incredible buy. Highly recommended.
Excerpt: It's a quality product and worth every penny. Very smooth pan. Versatile with three different leg settings, I particularly enjoy the ability to reverse the center-beam for close-in macro-shooting and document archiving. Bottom line is. . why put an expensive camera and lens on a flimsy base? Perfect for me; someone not a pro but looking to get more serious about photography. Some have complained that it is a bit heavy and that's true. .
Excerpt: I use this tripod with my Pentax k-50, it is a very sturdy unit that is comfortable and easy to use. Would definitely recommend. I especially love the quick release, this may be something common on most newer tripods but it is such a great feature. I am 5'8" and with the legs extended I can look right into my camera without bending at all, plus you still have the center beam for extra height. It could be a little lighter but for the price you can't go wrong.
Excerpt: I use it with my dslr and my 4x5 monorail.
I needed something strong enough to support it and this does. Its super sturdy and secure. It has multiple movements that I haven't used as yet but I'm glad to know that it's so versatile. It's also quite tall.
Excerpt: Very sturdy tripod. I'm 6'3" and it extends high enough to comfortably shoot upward to capture moonscapes.
It is a heavy unit, so I would recommend the $45 bag to go with it, as the included bag is lightweight and thin, but also only has centered handles and can not be carried on the shoulder.
Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Unfolds Quickly
Excerpt: I am a novice photographer who was told to buy a tripod. After reading reviews and looking at many tripods I showed my teacher this one and he thought it looked good. Well, he was right. It is very sturdy and structurally sound. For a novice or amateur photographer I think this will suit your needs very well. And it's easy to work. Nothing complex to deal with.
Excerpt: This is a great sturdy tripod. I've owned mine for a few years now. It is not too heavy and with the addition of the tripod bag makes it easy to transport without getting banged up a very versatile tripod.

Love that this is really tall and that you can also remove the center post for very low macro shots with the stability that this tripod holds.
