Excerpt: I'm 6'1" and having a tripod that could extend to a sturdy comfortable working height is important to me. Most of my recent work has been landscape photography. So, I mounted my camera and extended the center column to a comfortable shooting level and still had room to extend the center column...
Excerpt: This product was recommended to me by my tenant, after using his Pro 34DX I upgraded and bought the Pro 500DX and have been very happy using the product. Highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a solid, durable and easy to use product.
Excerpt: I'm still pretty novice with the whole photo/video thing, so I went into this purchase fairly blind and relied mostly on what the salesperson was telling me. Well, they did not lead me astray. This tripod is excellent for doing both photography and video.
Excerpt: This tripod seems sturdy and well built. The locking mechanisms on the legs are easy to use quickly. The pan/tilt head is great and I like how the handles unscrew so the tripod will fit nicely in the carry bag. The tripod is the perfect height for me (5'8"). Wish it had a T level, but no biggie.
Pros: Folds Small, Good Stability, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly
Excerpt: Nice Tripod. Stable. Not that Heavy, my last tripod must have been heavier! Useful to remove half of centre column as using my Manfrotto Joystick head makes this eye height when camera fitted without raising column, so no wobble on long exposures.
Excerpt: Good all-around medium duty pod. I use mostly outdoors in easy to rugged terraine for nature compositions, but also for some studio stills. I like the leg pads for shoulder carrying when moving about outdoors. I've seen some comments about weight.
Pros: Attaches Firmly, Good Stability, Large Range of Motion, Strong Clamp
