Excerpt: I've had this tripod for several months and traveled around a lot with it. It was my steady companion on my Iceland trip, where we had to deal with lots of changing weather conditions and terrain. It held up really well and I like the ease of use and lightness of the tripod.
Excerpt: Had this for about 6 months & it gets the job done but I'm not thrilled with the stability. I would have gone with a heavier tripod but I bought it for travel and its light weight. Makes it portable but also more unstable. In weather and terrain, it tips and sways more easily.
Excerpt: I do like the product but in the vertical position it refuses to lock. I had to create a shim to keep it level. Otherwise all my pictures came out tilted. I would spend the extra money next time and go with Manfrotto or Gitzo.
Excerpt: This item is nice but not as sturdy as I thought it would be. I purchased it for a family member and needed something very sturdy and easy to set up since they shake allot. Other than that it is well made and would recommend it for an average everyday user.
Pros: Average stability, Folds Small, Lightweight, Unfolds Quickly
Excerpt: I returned because it's too short for me. I am 5'11'' w/a Nikon D300... I do like the grips, but I just couldn't see myself slouching down all the time. It did however feel solid w/my gear attached to it. Cheapy bag, would have liked it to be padded, but good for the money...
